I accept insurance, but some plans may be out of network. In those cases,
out of pocket payment is due at the time of service.
In-Network : Tricare East, Cigna/Wildflower, Aetna, Anthem
Appointments requiring up to a 45-minute drive will include a $50 travel fee.
Appointments requiring 50–70 minutes will include a $75 travel fee.
Appointments requiring over 70 (but not exceeding 1.5 hours) minutes will include a $100 travel fee.
Prenatal Consultation
Discover everything you need to know about breastfeeding and understanding typical newborn behavior. This is designed to give you the support you need to kickstart your journey with confidence and ease as you welcome your new baby home. Plus, you'll receive helpful parent handouts to guide you every step of the way.

Initial In-Home Consultation
During your in-Home consultation we’ll gather a detailed history of you and your baby, observe a feed, physical, and functional assessment of the baby, we'll create a personalized care plan just for your little one. Including text support for seven days, to ensure everything's going smoothly.

Initial In-Office Consultation
My office is located in Newport New, VA. During your in-office consultation, we will review your and your baby’s history, observe a feeding, and perform a physical and functional assessment. You will receive a personalized care plan, along with seven days of text support to ensure everything is progressing smoothly. Our calm and welcoming office accommodates older siblings, with a table, chalkboard, and a selection of small toys for their use during the visit.

Follow-Up Consultation
If additional support is needed after the initial consultation, all follow-up appointments are held in-office in Newport News, VA. In-home follow-ups are available for an additional travel fee due at time of service.
During these visits, I will reassess your and your baby’s needs, complete a functional evaluation of your baby’s suck and swallow, and review the care plan so we can make any necessary adjustments. Continuous support will be provided as you work toward your feeding goals.

Returning to work
When returning to work, we'll size for proper flange fit and create a customized pump plan tailored to your needs. We'll also provide guidance on proper storage and handling of your milk.

Free teenage support
We understand that becoming a parent at a young age comes with its unique challenges. That’s why we’re here to provide two free lactation consultations to all teenage mothers, one before birth for education on breastfeeding and one after childbirth. Whether you're preparing for your baby’s arrival or navigating the early days of breastfeeding, we’re here to help every step of the way.
